Embarking on a design journey with us is a collaborative and considered experience, tailored to transform your vision into a beautifully resolved space. Our process is designed to provide clarity and creative direction at every stage, guiding you from initial enquiry through to the completion of your project.

By engaging us early, before your builder or architect finalises plans, we can help ensure a cohesive outcome and avoid costly errors. From selecting hard surface materials and paint colours to sourcing furniture and furnishings, every detail is thoughtfully considered and integrated so you can focus on what matters most.

Step 1: Design enquiry form

Your journey begins by completing our Design Enquiry Form via the Contact page.

Whether you’re planning a new build, renovation, room refresh, or seeking guidance through a one-off design consultation, this allows us to understand your goals and determine how we can best support your project.

Step 2: Initial design consultation

The next step is an initial design consultation with our Principal Interior Designer, Angela Smith. This 90 minute session can take place at your project address, in our studio, or online.

During the consultation, we explore your vision and provide tailored advice suited to your needs. This may include guidance for a one-off consultation, support across multiple spaces, or direction for a larger renovation or new build.

Following the consultation:

  • One-off consultations receive a written project summary with recommended next steps

  • Ongoing projects receive a detailed fee proposal outlining scope and timing

Step 3: Project commencement

This is where your project begins to take shape.

Conceptual design
We develop a mood board to establish the overall aesthetic and direction of your project. Once refined through your feedback, this evolves into a tailored design scheme.

Design development
We collaborate closely with you, and where applicable your builder or trades, to refine layouts, cabinetry, lighting, materials, and finishes. Furniture and soft furnishings are curated where required, with selections presented for review and approval.

Coordination and procurement
Once selections are approved, we liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and workrooms to manage orders, deliveries, and installations. Our trade relationships provide access to unique products and ensure a smooth, considered process.

Design facilitation and tailored involvement
The level of our involvement throughout your project is tailored to suit your needs, preferences, and the scope of works.

For some clients, this may involve a more hands-on level of ongoing support, providing continuity across the creative aspects of the project and helping to streamline communication as the design is brought to life. For others, our role may be more focused, offering guidance and clarification at key stages as required.

In all cases, we work collaboratively with your chosen builder, trades, and suppliers to coordinate design-related elements, provide clarification where needed, and guide decisions so the approved design direction is upheld. Our focus remains on the creative and aesthetic aspects of the project, ensuring they are thoughtfully resolved and integrated as work progresses.

Installation and styling (where applicable)

Where furniture and decorating form part of the project scope, this final stage brings the design together in a truly resolved way.

At completion, we coordinate the installation of selected furnishings and styling elements, carefully placing each piece to reflect the approved design direction. This is where the space is layered, refined, and resolved, resulting in a cohesive and beautifully finished interior that feels considered, complete, and ready to be lived in.
